SEWING

Finally finished our sewing, they look awesome!

The children are very proud of their work, and are now so much faster at threading needles and are doing neat stitching.  While they really wanted to take their sewing home, I also wanted to display their fabulous work.

Thanks again to our wonderful helpers, we couldn't do it without you :)

TURBO TOUCH

Here are some photos the children took while we had Turbo Touch this morning.  It is hard to get good photos while children are running with the ball.

SEWING

Fridays @ 9am are our sewing days.  Please come along and help if you can.

This week we were practising our long stitch, threading needles and tying knots.

Measurement

This term we are learning all about measuring length for mathematics.  Here the girls are looking at our heights. Maui was the tallest at 1.47m, while Jessyca was the shortest at 1.27 metres.  That was 20 centimetres difference.  Kyle, Damien and Jordan.T were all the same height at 1.37cm.  We all had fun measuring ourselves.

Try measuring your family at home.   Who is the tallest? shortest?

Work out what is the difference between measurements.

HOCKEY

On our first day back we were lucky to have Tania and Joyce to coach us for hockey.  We also had our super stars Jessie and Mia to demonstrate for us as they play hockey on Saturdays.
